Rope is a rope. It is 60m long and 28cm thick. Because Rope is made to big, it lost it’s function as a rope.

I travel with Rope to local communities, organisations and cities. I trie to connect it with people and things. Although Rope always remains an impenetrable and elusive part of reality, its mere presence makes the world and itself visible in a new way. It disrupts existing connections, brakes the world apart, and
creates a space of freedom and transfer where what exists can be shaped in different new directions. In addition to Rope, hand-woven Ropes of 11 and 5.5 meters are created as autonomous sculptures. Find out more on Rope at
