Velo
2015
During 9 months a second production line was set up in Velo, a workplace that recycles old bicycles. Instead of
second hand bicycles, 261 amateur paintings were inserted into this production
line. By applying the repetitive production process of this factory (collecting,
disassembling, storing and reassembling) on 261 amateur paintings, series of five modern artworks were recreated.
